Isabelle Moore

Contemporary design and freestanding furniture form the focus of Isabelle Moore’s studio practice. Developed through drawing, models and fabrication, each piece is shaped by a love of hand skills, materials and a fascination with the possibilities revealed by cross media manipulation and geometry. A fusion of structure, craft and body centred design. Her work is created in the exploratory environment of artist residencies and in her central Edinburgh studio where she offers in-house short courses and more recently, online tuition. Her work has been exhibited widely and is represented in collections at home and abroad.
